FREE VIRTUAL Teen Dating Violence Prevention 7-Dose Experience (Ages 13+)

Preventing teen dating abuse before it starts will help to ensure relationships, homes, schools, and communities are healthy, safe and free of domestic abuse and sexual violence.

At bloom365, we take a collaborative and comprehensive public health approach to preventing teen dating abuse and sexual violence at the root causes. Through our 7-Dose education curricula, ongoing advocacy and youth-led activism, we change the social norms that support violence.

We have taken our 7-Dose curriculum online! We invite you to join us in our virtual classroom for our upcoming session. The doses will be split into two, 3-hour sessions either during a Tuesday/Thursday or Saturday session. We recommend completing all 7-Doses.

SESSION 1:
Meet bloom365 and learn about our mission and vision our our long term goals.

• Dose 1: RECOGNIZE THE RED FLAGS - Spot the red flags of domestic/sexual/teen dating violence

• Dose 2: RESPOND & REFER - Learn how to respond to interpersonal violence without blaming the victim. Learn how to safety plan. Learn about resources for teens and how/where to refer a friend to help.

• Dose 3: ROOT CAUSES - Decode the Root Causes of interpersonal violence; rigid gender norms.

• Dose 4: Media and the Social Acceptance of Sexual Violence, Power and Control

SESSION 2:

• Dose 5: SELF-ESTEEM - Cultivate positive self-esteem, self-love and peer support beyond body image and appearance

• Dose 6: 3 C’s - Communicate and resolve conflicts through “I Statements.” Learn how to ask for consent

• Dose 7: Bystander Intervention & Tipping Point Theory of Change

We will send out information on how to access the classroom after we receive your registration. Please feel free to invite other teens in your community to attend. We also encourage adults to attend to experience the 7-doses for themselves.
